Big Catch

This song is a story about the free living of a fisherman or boater. He loves fishing and boating more than anything. In fact, he essentially lives on his boat. He isn't married nor has a steady girlfriend - although he has a lot of girlfriends. - He is really married to the sea and his boating lifestyle.

Occasionally, he stops into ports to meet up with someone special, but it is always temporary, and they both know it.

He is an incredibly interesting guy with plenty of stories and likes to drink.

Oftentimes he meets up with somebody he likes and who likes him. To each other, respectively, they are their Big Catch - "The One that got away... Live in my mind for another day.. You're my Dream, You're my Scream."

They each said these things to themselves and to each other, but there really isn't anything to it because they both like an untied life.

They dance the night away, and in the morning they go their separate ways, possibly to meet again some day, to play it out all over again.

And they are still out there, going port to port, partner to partner in an endless voyage of love and free living.

In some ways, we are all like these two individuals - or at least want to be.
