In a World

This song is about redemption (not the religious kind), survival and triumph in our complex society, where we are endlessly compared (and we compare ourselves) to others. Our society largely creates this, and it is not all bad, but often forces us to want to live, look and feel like others - otherwise we don't feel normal (and society looks at us as weirdos).

But the truth is, we all just need to be ourselves, because that's the best person we can ever be for the world - and for our own world.

So this song takes us on that twisted journey - First, of wanting to be like others or them wanting to be like us, then the unceasing feeling, deep inside, that we just want to be free to be ourselves - realizing that being like others, in the end is fake, painful and stressful. And that if we imagine another world (in the clouds), where we can be ourselves, where nobody stares (or judges us)... that's the place we want to be and need to be. And finally, when we find and get to that place, we can live AND LOVE freely again (I'm loving again).. as we were, when we were children, pure and happy.

It's a complicated subject and a complicated song, but not too complicated to relate to.
